To build upon our last section on testing and correcting Wind Points, which are areas physically located on the body that are vulnerable to physical and other types of breaching, let’s discuss the more amorphous idea of “boundaries” as testable structures that seem to be partly made of intention and partly of energy.
There are a few wonderful exercises in Eden Energy Medicine to shore up the aura, which is the energetic system that exists in a bubble all around you. My favorite is the Celtic Weave:
It might seem too simple to be effective! But try testing your aura in different places all around you, and then do the exercise, and see if any weak spots became whole.
Testing and Correcting Points in Your Aura
Using a “three finger notch” with your pointer and second finger pressing into your thumb, hold your fingers anywhere you wonder if your aura is strong. it can be close to your body, over an achy place, or just out as far as you can reach.
Press your General Indicator. Did it hold? Great! If not, you have information about your aura in that area.
Test several points all around you, including behind your own back.
Do the Celtic Weave exercise to strengthen your aura.
Re-test any weak points.
You may notice a difference in walking around with an improved aura! But if you feel encroached upon during your day by a situation, test and correct again.
Cyndi Dale’s Four Boundary Layers
Now, the idea of “boundaries” and I’m going to use it is a little more amorphous. You can still picture these boundaries being all around you in layers! But they most likely are both “all around you” and “not limited by time or space.”
Most of the boundary layers I use are as taught by Cyndi Dale. She has whole books on boundaries and a 6 hour class on Sounds True. So many choices to get in-depth information with helpful listen-along meditations! Find them!
But for here I’ll just refer to them, and give you the procedure I use to test and correct them with Cyndi Dale’s God Spot Protocol.
The first layer is the Physical layer.
The second layer is the Emotional layer.
The third layer is the Relational layer.
The fourth layer is the Spiritual layer.
And the fifth layer is the layer I call Mambo Number Five! I don’t know what it is! But when I started correcting my layers I could feel that something was still off after I corrected the first four layers. It might be a layer for groups, or vibes, or just things that humans can’t comprehend. Whatever! I don’t care too much about the whats as long as the layer tests as intact!
Testing and Correcting the Five Boundary Layers
You can use your same “three finger notch” to test the five boundary layers. I test them as a whole, not all around me in spots, by just sticking my fingers down in a place in the air that I’m asking to represent the layer and testing as above.
If you find any layers that test weak, use Cyndi Dale’s God Spot protocol to ask for healing for that layer.
— God Spot Protocol (learned from Cyndi Dale)
1. Bring your consciousness into the center of your heart (Cyndi says we have one cell of the infinite Divine in there, and calls this place the God Spot)
2. Connect with your Spirit
3. Connect with your helpful Spirit guides
4. Connect with Source/God
5. Ask for and receive "streams of grace" or "light that casts no shadow" to flow from inside your God Spot to outside, and from outside you to inside you
— Then, you focus on your thing that needs healing and light: Ask for and receive "streams of grace" or "light that casts no shadow" to flow to the boundary layer that needs healing and light; ask for “miracles if necessary” if it feels that there is a lot there.
— Retest that layer. Is it strong now?
— If you want, you can also test each layer for “coming in” and “going out” boundaries. We usually think about the problem of other people/problems encroaching on us! But are our boundaries going out what we need them to be? Or is our energy thrashing around all willy-nilly, or even just signaling too much like a loud radio announcer?
I test my boundaries morning, noon, and night, and especially before seeing clients or doing anything challenging. The more I ask for light and use my intention of having good boundaries, the more natural it feels to relate to life from my center.
BONUS MEDIA!!!
And, bonus media for this week if you aren’t familiar with the song Mambo Number Five by Lou Bega, which inspired the name I use for the fifth layer of boundaries, enjoy! (The original video is very focused on some gorgeous 90’s dancing girls which wasn’t quite energy medicine feeling? So I found this one with a full orchestra wearing formalwear and ball gowns in front of an all-ages crowd of thousands? What is this?! I love it!)
